"God’s Secret Weapon"

Dear Friends and Family,

Does God really have secret weapons? I’ll let you be the judge.

We received a phone call from a friend of ours. She said they had taken her father-in-law, to the hospital with a heart attack, and that he was on heavy oxygen. She asked if we could come and pray for him, so we did. The doctors told the family that he would never leave the hospital. But what the doctors didn’t know was that the family was calling on a higher power, whose name is Jesus Christ. Just three years before this he was in the hospital with congestive heart failure, but there was a lot of prayer sent up to the Lord on his behalf. The Lord was with him and he recovered. But this time it wasn’t looking very good at all. The family was told if he even had a small heart attack he wouldn’t survive.

Meanwhile, behind the scene was a nurse that would go into his room and pray over him every chance she got. No one even noticed her, or what she was doing.

After a couple days, the worst thing that could happen did happen. He had another heart attack. The family had a big decision to make, should they put him on life support or not. The doctors said, he didn’t have much of a chance to survive, even with life support. But the family had faith that God would heal him.

When we saw him this time, he was on full life support, not responding to us at all. All we could do was to pray that God would heal him.

Now do you remember the nurse I had mentioned? Well you guest it; she followed him to the I.C.U. area. She prayed for him several days. No one even knew she was there, but God knew because He had sent his secret weapon, a nurse behind the scenes, that covered him in prayer until he fully recovered. Was the secret weapon an angel? I believe she was, an angel named Sophie.

He wrote us a letter, thanking us for our prayers to God on his behalf. We can only thank God for sparing his life, and for sending His secret weapon.

You too can become one of God’s secret weapons. God needs intercessory prayer warriors, those who are willing to pray and intercede on the behalf of others. Those who work behind the scenes unnoticed. God my wake you up in the middle of the night, and place someone on your heart to pray for. Will you be willing to pray, until the breakthrough comes, no matter how late it gets? There is a high calling on the lives of those who are intercessors. Won’t you become one of God’s secret weapons? Behind every great ministry, there are intercessory prayer warriors.
