"Are You Ready "

Dear Friends and Family,

It seems as if the Lord is moving us from the malls to restaurants. Lately we’ve been meeting pastors that we hadn’t known before at restaurants. A few weeks ago we were at a restaurant with a couple of pastor friends of ours. After eating, one of the pastors introduced himself to the people sitting at the table across from us. As it turned out, one of the people at the table was a pastor of a church in Benton Harbor. After everyone had been introduced to each other, the pastor from Benton Harbor invited us to come to his church. A couple of weeks went by and the Lord prompted me that we should go to that church the following Sunday.

When we arrived at the church we were warmly welcomed by the people there. The pastor said he was glad to see us and then introduced us and had us say a few words. Then he mentioned that God had prompted him to post on the church Face Book Page for today’s service that everyone should come to church expecting, because God was going to do something special in the service today. He went on to say he felt that God was going to move in healing, and then when he saw us show up, he knew that our meeting wasn’t a coincidence. When he finished his message, he turned the service over to us.

Many people came forward for a physical touch of God. But this was the first time so many came for healing of several different types of cancer. I was amazed at such a high percentage of people with cancer that the church had. Lena prayed for one lady that couldn’t move her knee without pain. She said she was scheduled for a knee replacement. After Lena finished praying for her, she was able to move her knee with complete movement in it and without any pain. The lady told us that it looked like she wouldn’t have to have the knee replacement now.

A couple weeks ago we were invited to minister at Lily of the Valley Church in Covert. The Lord had led me to Luke chapter 21. This chapter talks about giving and the return of Jesus. A few years ago Lena had a dream and in that dream she saw a cloud that had descended from heaven with many faces in it. She heard a voice saying, “We are coming to get the dead.” The scriptures tell us that when Jesus comes in a cloud, that the dead in Christ shall rise first to meet Him in the air. She then began running up and down the streets telling everyone that Jesus is coming and they have to get ready and give their heart to God.

The scripture in Luke starts out with giving. Here we see Jesus looking up during the time the offering was given, and watching what was given and who was giving it. You might say, “that’s my business what I give and no one else’s business”. It would appear that it is Jesus’ business also. In this scripture it says He saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury. The treasure is the storehouse.

Malachi 3:10 & 11 says bring your tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. The church is the storehouse. People come to church to receive spiritual food, the word of God. But to receive from the church we have to maintain the church and ministries within the church. So God says to do this it will take the tithe or 10% from the people. He goes on to say Try Me now in this, “says the Lord of host”, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devour for your sake.

God is challenging us by saying, “Try Me Now in this”. Are you up to the challenge? Remember God said, He will open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. I don’t know about you, but that’s the kind of blessing I’m looking for.

When Jesus looked up to see what people were giving, He saw a certain poor widow giving two mites (Two mites are equal to ½ a penny).  Then He said to the rich, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all of you”. You see they gave out of their abundance, but she gave out of her poverty, all the livelihood that she had. Not 10%, but100%.

Do you find yourselves saying I will give my all to Jesus, until it comes to money.

Because of their pride in giving, some began boasting of how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and donations. How often do we boast of our church and how much nicer it is then someone else’s church.

Then Jesus said to them, “These things you see, the day will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.” Then they asked him for a sign when it would happen. He told them Nations will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes and famines and pestilences.

All the things that Jesus said would happen as a sign of His returning is happening right now.

Then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Next Jesus warns us in verse 34. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come unexpectedly.  Here in this verse He is saying you can miss going to heaven and be left behind.

The following week we were at New Freedom Church in Coloma. There was a message in an unknown language, and God gave me the interpretation saying the time is short and His coming is soon, to look at all the signs around you that point to His returning. He has been holding off His coming, but He can’t wait much longer. You have to get right with God and get yourselves ready. After that word, people started coming to the alter and getting things right with God. Then the pastor opened up the alter for everyone to come. There was no preaching, because God had spoken.

We have to be ready at all times for his coming.    ARE YOU READY ?

John 3:16-17

16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

God truly loves us and gave us a way to be with Him in heaven for eternity. The way to heaven is to accept Jesus into our heart, and ask Him for forgiveness of our sins and turn our lives over to Him.
