" Reflections  2006 "

Dear Friends and Family,

It’s that time of the year again, when many of us stop, and look back over the year that has just passed. We look at all the good times that bring a little smile to our faces, but we also look at some of the times that bring a little tear to our eyes. But as for this Christmas I’ve determined in my mind that I’ll keep my mind focused on all the blessings that God has given to me.

I thank Him for blessing me with a wonderful wife, with two sons and their loving wives, and with our grandson.

I thank Him for providing for all of my financial needs, and blessing me with a few of the little extra things as well.

I thank Him for keeping me in good health, and for healing me when I’ve been sick.

I thank Him for listening to my prayers and answering them.

I thank Him for the privilege of ministering to His people, of being His hand extended.

I thank Him for giving me boldness and strength to stand up against the powers of darkness, and be victorious.

I thank Him for America and the freedom to worship Him at church, at home, at work, or anywhere I wish.

But most of all I want to thank our heavenly father for giving us a very precious gift:

-  A very valuable gift -

-  A gift that can’t be bought -

-  A gift that can’t be earned.  -

-  A gift you won’t want to return -

-  A gift that brings you joy  -

-  A gift that brings you comfort -

-  A gift that’s everlasting  -

-  A gift that you will love -

-  A gift that will love you -

-  A gift that isn’t new  -

-  A gift that will never grow old -

-  A gift that you can give away, and still keep  -

-  A gift that gives life -

-  God gave us His Son Jesus -

But like any gift, it has to be received before you can enjoy it, or gain any benefit from it.

I’d like to share this gift with you this Christmas. Won’t you accept God’s gift to you, His Son Jesus Christ? He’s the gift of eternal life. By accepting Jesus, you will live forever after this life has passed away. There is a heavenly home prepared and waiting for you.

It’s easy to receive this gift. Just ask Jesus into your heart. Ask Him to forgive you for all the things you’ve done wrong. He is the only one that can erase your past. You will be able to start all over again, with your past behind you, and a new life before you.
